Outreach and Community

Our team is not only commited to providing compassionate care in our office, but we also do our best to connect with the community with oral health education at health fairs, schools, parent meetings, and TV.

Just in 2008, we have reached out to a variety of community groups.

  • Our staff has participated in the Get Up Get Moving Vive Tu Vida 2008 health fair, sponsored by the Chicago Hispanic Health Coalition at McKinley Park on June 14th educating families and giving away prizes.

  • Dr. Dhake taught an oral health class to 50 medical assistant students at Spanish Coalition for Jobs.

  • Dr. Dhake provided oral health information on CAN-TV with Illinois Maternal and Child Health Coalition.

    • Dr. Dhake is a member of the Chicago Oral Health Network helping to develop a network on improving the oral health of Chicago.

    • We have worked directly with staff and teachers at Shields Elementary, Burroughs Elementary and Columbia Explorers providing oral health education to their students.

    • We have participated in the State Representative Susan Mendoza's Senior Health Fair in January 2008.
